The Dr Hadwen Trust is the UK’s leading medical research charity funding exclusively non-animal research techniques to replace animal experiments, benefiting people and animals.
The Dr Hadwen Trust provides grants to support the discovery of techniques to replace animal experiments; to assist in the provision of facilities and equipment for such research; and to encourage through publicity and education the wider adoption of such techniques. Our research projects have the potential to advance the development, validation or application of non-animal methods of research, testing or teaching, as replacements for animal experiments; and to advance progress in biomedical research.
